It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Adele McIntyre at the age of 90 years on July 29, 2021 with her daughter Carol by her side.

Adele moved to McKenzie Island with her parents at a very young age. She married the love of her life, Ritchie, and lived in McKenzie Island, Cochenour, and Ear Falls. In her later years, she moved to Lindsay,  Ontario to be near to her daughters Lee and Carol, and her son Brian.

Adele had a passion for golfing winning the Ladies Club Champion in Red Lake and Ear Falls numerous years, even winning the prestigious spot when she was in her 70s. Ritchie always said "his day depended on how good Adele's golf game was."

Adele spent 30 plus years wintering in Arizona. She loved the warm weather, and her Mesa friends.

Adele was predeceased by her husband Ritchie in 1992, and her daughter Lee, in 2021.

She is survived by her daughter Carol (Murray), her son Gordon (Debbie) and her son Brian. She is also survived by her sister Faye (Bill) and son-in-law John. She leaves behind her grandchildren Greg, Kelly, Fred, James and Candice as well as 6 great grandchildren.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private celebration of life will take place at a later date when she is laid to rest with her husband Ritchie in the Ear Falls Cemetery.
