Obituary

In loving memory of our wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Annette Irene Chevrier, who passed away in Red Lake on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the age of 78.

Anne is survived by her husband, Roland, her children Debbie (Gordon), Randy (Tracy), Rick (Pam), and Rod. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Greg, Kelly, Christopher, Brittany, Alison, and Chantal and two great-grandchildren, Tianna and Bryce.

Anne was born in Hazel Dell, Saskatchewan on May 17, 1936 to Philip and Annie Antoniw. She met the love of her life, Roland in 1953 in Portage la Prairie, MB, and they were married on April 27, 1955 in Winnipeg, MB. In 1960 they moved to Red Lake. For many years, she operated the Ministry of Transportation license bureau, worked as a bookkeeper, and loved working with the clients at Harmony Center for 10 years. Anne and Roland purchased Howey Bay Service Center in 1989 where she was always happy to greet the public and give out treats to every child and dog that came in.

A celebration of life was held on November 8, 2014 at 2 pm at the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church with Reverend Michael Montague officiating. Interment will follow at a later date.
