Hazelwood
September 8, 1935 – January 27, 2022
With great sadness we announce that the beautiful and loving Audrey Marina Hazelwood (nee Daniels) passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 27, 2022, at the age of 86 in Red Lake Hospital. She is predeceased by her parents, siblings and her loving husband Mike Hazelwood. Audrey is survived by her 5 children Mike, Linda (Tamma), David (Karen), Susan, and Chris (Cathy). Further survived by her 9 grandchildren: Jenn (Sean), Steph (Evan), Audrey (Andre), Sarah (Chris),Warren (Kimi),Maryann, Richard (Kaysha), Mikie, Jamie, and 10 great grandchildren: Matt (Ashley), Evan, Ryan, Brayden, Juliana, Lorelai, Fynn, Makyla, Fynn, and Greylen. Audrey was born on Sept.8th, 1935 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She married her sweetheart Mike on Sept. 26th, 1953. In 1969 they moved to Ear Falls, Ontario to raise their family and the town would gain a true friend and a devoted community citizen that would leave a lasting impression for decades to come. Audrey had a true passion to serve and spent much of her life volunteering for the Ear Falls community including the ambulance and library. She became a pastor with the Anglican church, leading and serving the Ear Falls community in her unwavering faith and true spirit. She had a passion for reading, a kind heart and love for animals, especially her beloved cats. Audrey was a pillar of the Ear Falls community and her family, and her presence will be greatly missed. A celebration of her life will on Saturday, May 28th at 1 pm at the Ear Falls Legion. Donations in her memory may be made to The Ear Falls Public Library through the Red Lake Chapel, Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.
