Barry passed away at the age of 69 at his residence in Red Lake, Ontario.

He was loved, will be remembered, and missed by his children Kristina, Jessie, Robin, and Thomas, grandchildren Thomas, Mackenzie, Alexia, Brooke, Tianna, Declan and baby bean. He is also survived by his siblings Brian and Joanne, Aunty Valerie (Anthony) Henry, nieces and nephews Donald, Saydie, Nicole, Sylvia, Jennifer, Fallon, Dylan, Caden, Evan, Graham, sister-in-law Allison Cockroft, extended family and friends, and his cat Harmony. He was predeceased by his parents Rodney and Isobel, stepfather Bill and brother Bradley.

As per his wishes cremation will take place and a service will be held in the summer of 2026.
