Billy is survived by his son Leon, daughter-in-law Wendy, granddaughter Hailey Litwin, sister Eleanor (Gilles) Vachon, aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Josie and his sister Diane Young.

As per Bill's wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 24th at 1 pm at 114 Forestry Road  (Site 2 – Red Lake Indian Friendship Centre)

Interment will take place in the Red Lake Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his parents.
