Cecil (Monty) Montgomery Wood passed away at the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital on December 24th, 2023, at the age of 73. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Susan, his sons Monty Jr., Marty Wood, Bob and Ken Clement, daughter Tia Wood, grandchildren Nathaniel, Jennifer, Lukas, Courtney, Sydney, Mason, Madison, Darrian, Shayne, Kayden, Kallia, Raven, and Trey, great grandchildren London, Ireland, and Penelope, sisters Louise, Helena, brother Pat, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Patrick, mother Stella, brothers Raymond, Elmer, sisters Rosie, Dorothy, Winnie, Lisa, and Brenda.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
