Obituary

Lovingly remembered by his wife, Roseanne Tom, daughters Stephanie LeBlanc (Jérémie), Mallory Thompson (Dougall), grandchildren Gabe, Charlotte, Olivier, and expectant baby girl on the way, brother Hugh (Enid), many nieces and nephews.

Craig was born, raised and educated in Red Lake, graduated from Confederation College in Thunder Bay and received his pilot's license in 1976. Most of his life was spent operating Viking Outpost Cabins, which he owned with his brother Hugh. Fishing was his love and he continued to do so right up until the fall of 2020.  Craig and Roseanne were married in 1999 and spent the last 20+ winters travelling and enjoying their home in Florida.  Craig had many friends from Canada and the US and will be remembered by all as a kind, generous and hardworking man.  He was predeceased by his parents Arthur (1996) and Florence (2017), sister Ann (1945), and brother Ray (1966).

His wish was to be laid to rest with his brother Ray in the Red Lake cemetery. A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or Thunder Bay Cancer Care through the Red Lake Chapel, P.O. Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.
