Peacefully on Tues. Oct. 19th, 2020, Danny passed away at home on the Island, at the age of 66. He was born in Born June10/54, in Val-d'Or, Que.

Danny moved to the Island in 1960 with his Father, Mother and Sister. He had many hobbies, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing his guitar, motorcycling, and playing Backgammon. Dany also spent most of his life working in the Mining Industry. He was a laid back kind of guy and loved hanging out with his family and friends, and loved the Island life.

Danny was predeceased by his Father (Edward), and his Mother (Elizabeth) . He is survived by his sister, Maureen (Dale), Daughter Caitlin, Son Daniel, Niece (Crystal).

Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held. Donations may be made to charity of choice through the Red Lake Chapel, Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.

Don't think of him as gone away
his journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.

Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.

Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.

And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched…
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much.
