Dorie will be lovingly remembered by her children Georgie (Jim) McCann, Lee (Jim predeceased) Moorley, Don (Yvonne) Davis and Cindy (Brent) Reading, grandchildren Ryan, Patrick (Carole-Lynn), Jillian (Alan), Kristina (Joey), Jeff (Sarah), Caitie (Chancy), Deanna (Darryl), Janna (Zach) and Jaclyn, great-grandchildren Laura, Conlan, Artcher, Bronwen, Olivia, Jack, Sam, Amelia, Jonah, Jacob, Emmet, Max, Madeleine, Juniper, Arthur, and Walker, sisters Lila Haukness and Nora Hill as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Gareth, parents Jack and Marie, as well as her siblings Myrtle, John "Jack", Charlie, Hugh, Lorne, Dave, Jean and Mildred.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 10 at 11:00 a.m. at 7 Rahill Beach Road.
