He is survived by his daughter Deana (Oscar), son Leonard (Melanie Moose), granddaughter Kiersten, 14 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Lorraine and brother Fred.

He was predeceased by his parents Kenese and Nancy, wife Mida, daughters Christina and Emma and one grandson.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Forestry Fellowship Centre with visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to service.
