Ed passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre at the age of 67.
He will be lovingly remembered by wife Lori of 47 years, daughter Jennifer (Lee), son Tim (Nicole) grandchildren Rebecca, Emily, Olivia, and their mother Jenn, brothers Ben (Elizabeth), Raymond, Stanley (June), sister Kris (late husband Dave), brother-in-law Joe (partner Ann), numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Stanislaw and Regina and sister Barbara.
Ed's passion in life was always driving. As a teenager he built and drove stock cars with his friend/uncle Bruce. He started transport truck driving at the age of 19 until the 90's when he transitioned from transport truck driving to driving his own taxis. He will always be remembered parked at the top of the hill over looking the lake. Ed lived his life calling Red Lake home and where he built his own log house on the lake with his family, and later enjoyed his time spent there with his grandchildren.
As per his wishes cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will be held.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Tamarack House through the Red Lake Chapel, Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.
