In loving memory of Elizabeth Procyk who passed away peacefully in the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital at the age of 89.

Elizabeth (Lisbeta) Procyk (nee Stoczanyn) began her life on October 17, 1928, born in Jaszkowice, Germany. She was an only child. After the war, she met her husband Walter. They were married in January 1946. In 1948, Walter immigrated to Canada and Elizabeth followed a year later.

In 1952, Elizabeth & Walter's first son, Boris was born. Five years later, their second son Stefan was born. Boris married Alana Goodwin in February 1975 and have two children, Michael & Elizabeth. Michael married Tina Englisch in July 1997 and have three children, Chelsea, Kyrsten & Owen. Elizabeth married Greg Ward in September 2003 and have two children, Evelyn & Sarah. Stefan married Astrid Budweg in August 1980 and have two children, Nicholas & Kristina. Nicholas married Jocelyne LeBleu in September 2009 and have two children Alexis & Liliana. Kristina married Benjamin Campbell in July 2013.

Elizabeth was very active in her community and with her church, St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church. She worked with other Ukrainian immigrant women in making and selling perogies and cabbage rolls to help raise funds for the Church. Elizabeth cared for her family very much and enjoyed spoiling her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, April 6th at 1 pm
in St. John the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Justin Eze officiating.

Interment will follow in the Woodland Cemetery.Luncheon will be held following interment at St.Mary's Ukrainian Church Hall.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 5th from 6-7 pm in the Red Lake Funeral Chapel.
