It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elsie on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

Elsie spent many hours in her yard tending to her flowers. During the winter months, she enjoyed decorating her home for Christmas. She also loved walking, road trips, and watching curling.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Darlene and Lois (Tyrel), and her daughter-in-law, Shelley. Elsie was predeceased by her husband, Calvin, and her son, Bob.

The family extends its sincere thanks to the staff at Northwood Lodge for the kind and gentle care they provided to Elsie.

As per Elsie’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Diabetes Foundation through Red Lake Chapel, Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.
