She is survived by her children Eli (Laura) James, Albert (Ida) James, Mary Lawson, Allison Cockroft and Vontane (Andrew) Keno, plus numerous grand children, great grand children, great great grand children and extended family.  Emily is predeceased by her husband, Aglaba James, daughter Y-own James, parents Levi and Eva Kakepetum, son in law Brad Cockroft and Siblings Morley, Martina, Joe, Albina and Marie Kakepetum.

A private visitation & celebration of life will be held at Forestry Fellowship Hall with Henry Hostetler & Kevin Miller officiating.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Red Lake Friendship Centre Food Bank through the Red Lake Chapel, P.O. Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.
