Obituary
In loving memory of Emily Meekis who peacefully passed away at her residence with her family by her side on February 22 at the age of 46.
She is survived by her husband Ronnie, her children Leon, Neil, Rona, and Leona, and her mother Ruby Rae. She is also survived by numerous sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Delius Rae and infant son Leon.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 25th at 10 am in the Believers Fellowship Hall with Pastor Kevin Miller officiating. Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery, Balmertown.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 24th in the Herold Funeral Home "Red Lake Chapel". Donations may be made to the Red Lake District Diabetes Program through Herold Funeral Home Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses for the professional care they provided to Emily.
