We are deeply saddened of the passing of our dear Mother and Grandmother Florence (Francis) Negrich on August 11, 2021.
Mom was a fighter right to the very end. Her life wasn't easy raising us on her own, she worked hard but never complained. Her door was always open for a bowl of homemade soup and freshly baked buns. She also enjoyed going blueberry picking every season and filling up her freezer to make the best blueberry jam, muffins, pies, and cakes.
She worked for the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) for over 30 years. She was dedicated, compassionate, and caring towards all people. Mom was a generous soul, even though she didn't have much, she always gave to others who were in need. She taught us to never give up and fight for what we believed in, her legacy lives on.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters Darlene (Bruce), Donna (Tim), her grandchildren Avery (Motooki), Lee (Kaleigh), Dennan (Janessa) and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved very much.
Our Mother was always joking and full of laughter as she would say, "You cannot fly on one wing!"
Mom's last wish was to Pay it Forward and Be Kind. We are all EQUAL. Until we meet again, we love you.
A Private Service will be held.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
