Obituary
Harley Johnston 68 of Nipigon, ON passed away on January 25, 2016 at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.
Harley was born in Portage La Prairie, MB on November 2, 1947.
He married to the love of his life Irene Gadd on August 3, 1968. Harley managed both of the Home Hardware stores in Ear Falls and Red Lake for over 35 years.
Harley is survived by his wife of 47 years Irene, his children Bev (Brian) Brattengeier of Nipigon, ON, Terry Johnston of Red Lake, ON, Crystal (Mike) Gastmeier of Thunder Bay, ON, Corrine (Ralph) Dreger of Neepawa, MB and his sister Tudy Buechler of Portage La Prairie, MB.
He will be missed by his 7 grandchildren and his great-grandchild as well as numerous brother in-laws, sister in-laws as well as nephews and nieces.
Cremation had taken place, and a celebration of his life will be held on June 11th from 3 to 6 pm at the Goldcorp Curling Lounge.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation through Herold Funeral Home, Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.
