Harvey Beardy, born in Bearskin Lake, Ontario on December 15, 1949, passed away at Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital on March 23, 2020 at 10:55 pm.

Harvey was the husband of Lena Beardy (Nee Sawanas) for 45 years. He leaves behind his son Leslie (Trace), grandchildren Melanie, Brendon, Kienan (Louis James), Dallas and Daisey Meekis, his great-grandchildren Nayden, Naveya, Makeya and Keyera Meekis as well as Darian Desmoulin.

He was predeceased by his parents Apin and Nancy Beardy, parents in-law Simon and Margaret Sawanis as well as 11 siblings.

He was a Band Constable for 10 years, with a further 11 years as a conservation officer. Harvey used those skills effectivly working with youth at Northern Eagle High School for 11 years.

He was a kind, gentle, respectful and loving man with a great sense of humor who loved his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the love of his life, Lena.

A private family service was held at the Red lake Cemetery.
