Obituary

It is with broken hearts that we learn to accept the passing of Heather Weese. Beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, sister and friend, Heather Elizabeth Ann Weese passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, at the age of 37 in Red Lake, ON.

Born on April 19, 1988, in Hamilton, ON., Heather was the daughter of Nancy-Ann and Leen Tuk. She grew up in Hamilton and later made her home in Red Lake, ON.

Heather was the devoted wife of David Weese for 6 years. Together, they created a beautiful family and so many memories. She was a proud and dedicated mother to Hayden and Alivia, who were the center of her world and brought her immense joy.

She is remembered for her kindness, strength, wisdom, dedication, sense of humor, and her compassion. Through her volunteer work in her daughter’s activities, her unwavering love for her family, and her dedication to her work, she touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed.

In addition to her husband and children, Heather is survived by her father Leen Tuk, her brother Aren Tuk, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her mother and best friend Nancy-Ann Tuk, whom she loved dearly.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the first responders, Dr. Hughes, all hospital staff for their support and compassion and from the bottom of our hearts we would like to truly thank all our friends and family for their love and kindness during this difficult time.

A funeral service will be held on April 24, 2026, at 1:00PM at the Red Lake Royal Canadian Legion with Kevin Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made “In Trust” to Hayden and Alivia Weese (email d.weese@hotmail.com)

Heather's love and dedication to supporting others will live on in all who knew her.

Heather, you are the love of my life. We will miss you with immense sadness every hour of every day. We will never forget you.
