Hector is survived by his daughters Brenda (Jerry Whalen) of Ear Falls, Wanda (Terry Papadakis) of Ear Falls, son-in-law Wilton Desserre of Ear Falls, daughter-in-law Gail Gouliquer of Atikokan, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, sister Stella Huntley of Atikokan, brother Bob (Olive) Gouliquer of Pinewood, sister-in-law Georgette Gouliquer of Thunder Bay. He was predeceased by his wife Irene, daughters Deanna, Jane (Rudy Olson), son Ed, and numerous siblings.

A private celebration of life will be held at the Ear Falls Cemetery.
