Hendrix passed away peacefully at the Red Lake Hospital with his family by his side at the age of 71. He will be lovingly remembered by his common-law partner Evelyn, cousins "sis" Liz Keewasin, Ida Mason-Kejick, Noella Quoquat, Kelly Anderson & her family, many extended family members of Lac Seul. He was predeceased by his parents George and Elizabeth, his siblings Mary, Joe, John, Edward, Bobby, Alex, Ambrose, and Isaac.

Visitation will be held at the Red Lake Funeral Chapel on Monday, August 28th from 1 to 3 pm.

A funeral service will be held at Forestry Fellowship Hall August 29th at 11 am with Henry Hostetler officiating.

Interment will follow in the Red Lake Cemetery.
