It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jim Garneau. Jim was born in Campbellford, ON, and started his career as a purchasing agent in Nephton, ON. Jim was the president of the Chukuni Rod and Gun Club for 5 years as well as the chairman of the Duck's Unlimited for 5 years. His career took him many places such as Tumbler Ridge, B.C, Ireland and Havelock, ON. Jim owned "Jim's Gun Shop" for 38 years, taught the Hunters Education program for 37 years and Firearms Safety for 26 years. He is survived by his wife Joanne, daughters Julie and Kimberly, grandson Jimothy, brothers Ken and Chuck, sister Mary as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife Anne-Marie of 37 years, parents John and Kathleen and his infant brother Franklin.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.

Interment will take place in Hastings, ON at a later date
