Janet will be deeply missed by her daughter Teresa (Don) and her son David (Michelle). Janet was a proud and loving grandmother to Ryan (Cari-Ann), Nicholas (Ashley), Ethan (Rachel), J.D. (Adrienne), and Michael (Veronika) and a cherished great-grandmother to Curran, Ryatt, Hunter, and Cove.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George, as well as her parents Michael and Carrie Peterson.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the dedicated nurses and doctors at the Red Lake Hospital, who provided such exceptional care and comfort during her final days.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A vigil service will be held on Monday, April 20th from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 21st at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, with Father Justine Eze officiating.

Interment will follow at the Woodland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John the Apostle Parish.
