He is survived by his son Lane Kowal (mother Christina), sister Victoria Kowal, nephew James, nieces Emily & Corra-Lynn Kowal-King, uncle Dan (Anne) Kowal, and aunt Mairlyn Sokulski. He is predeceased by his mom Donna Kowal, first wife Mellissa Kowal and his uncle Michael Sokulski.

A gathering will be held on Friday November 9 ^th , 2018 at 1pm – 3 pm with a eulogy reading at 1pm at the Ear Falls Royal Canadian Legion.
