Joan passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 13th at the Red Lake Hospital, with her son by her side. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she received her education. Joan moved to the Red Lake District in 1953 with her husband Andy. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed berry picking, walking, jogging, and yoga.

She will be remembered by her sons Konrad, Andres, Tommy, sister Marie, and her little buddy Bou. She was predeceased by her parents Robert and Zoe, her husband Andy, daughter Virginia, brothers Danny and Alfred.

As per her wishes no funeral service will be held.
