IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joanne Marie
Elizabeth Solomon
April 29, 1963 – June 4, 2019
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Mr. Dave, children Cindy (Chris), Nick (Emma), Michelle, grandchildren Sadie, Sutton, Nate, father Ernie, mother Aline, siblings Suzie (Perry), Claude (Sherry), Claudette (Rob), Theresa (Mike), Michelle (Don), numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and closest friends in "Jo's Journey".
Joanne would like to let you know that her work here is done. Through with chasing the carrot on the stick, the mountain is thrown into the sea, and cancer is no longer her obstacle. Leaving behind the greatest blessings of this life, her precious grandchildren, who were her pride and joy and her motivation to fight as long and hard as she did, we are so proud of her!
She has passed through the gate... leaving a trail of wool behind so her family can always find her. She carries knitting needles and a pair of half finished socks... as she walks with the her older twin sisters that have come to gather her to her forever home. She is finally relieved of her duties of being the oldest sibling and gets to be the youngest, at least for a while...challenging for sure as she's used to being the bossy ring leader! Her forever home is a wonderful place where she will be gardening, kayaking, houseboating, painting, knitting, spinning, watching over and admiring her grand-children... and of course, socializing!
Walking away, beyond the gate... not looking back... cause she knows we have each other...
A celebration of life will be held on Monday June 10 th at 11am at the Red Lake Royal Canadian Legion with Merle Nisly officiating
