John passed away peacefully at the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital on August 29th at the age of 83.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ute of 55 years, son Jeb (Nina) and grandchildren Ella, Wyatt, Lexi, daughter Lara (James) and grandchildren Kira and Liam, son Kurt (Jen) grandchildren Mira and Finn. He will also be remembered by his brother Ted (Louise) niece Alana and nephews Geoff (Jessica) and Greg, brother Peter and nephew Grant (Talia), sister Susan (Leo) and nephew Paul and nieces Tess (Cathy), Natasha (Steve), and Monique (Darrell), and sister-in-law Laverne and nephew Michael.

John was predeceased by his parents Ed and Helen Fahlgren and his brother Doug.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Red Lake Hospital staff for their care and compassion towards John and also thank Don and Doris Coghill for their friendship and support.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
