John will be lovingly remembered as a friend to everyone, and he never knew a stranger. He was a caring pilot, a gifted storyteller with a unique sense of humour, a hardworking carpenter, and someone who was always generous and ready to lend a helping hand. He also loved sharing his “box of tricks” with friends and family. John lived a life marked by humility and hospitality, and he was filled with the hope of the LIFE to come because of what Jesus Christ had done for him on the cross.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7
