With heavy hearts the family of Kim Peters announces his passing with his wife and son by his side at his residence at the age of 52.
He will be forever loved by his wife Wendy, son Beau, parents Harvey and Sandra, brothers Jamie (Louise), Joni (Renita), Derek (Tracy), sister in laws Kim (Danny), Patsy (Brock), Jennifer (Graham), 5 nephews, 7 nieces, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Kim was born and raised in Winkler Manitoba where he graduated from high school and then moved to Winnipeg where he met his soul mate Wendy. After a few years in the city they decided to move to Red Lake, which remained his residence for the last 25 years.
He enjoyed being in the outdoors and had a passion for fishing and hunting. He spent countless hours with many of his buddies on the water and took pride in bringing home food for his family, whom he loved dearly. Kim was a strong but quiet man whose contagious smile will never be forgotten.
A service was held at the Goldcorp Recreation Complex on Saturday, October 12 with the Reverend Mark Loyal officiating. If friends desire donations may be made to Memory in Miles or Canadian Cancer Society through Herold Funeral Home, Box 237, Red Lake, ON.
The family would like to thank Dr. Aniol for his compassionate care, his fishing and hunting buddies for making sure he was able to get out doing what he loved over the past year, and the numerous friends that sent food, flowers, and donations. Thank you to Menno Hamm for the reading of the eulogy and Nick Hamm for the music played at the service. A special thank you to Tracy Herold for all the love and support, and fulfilling Kim's wishes.
Forever Loved
