Landyn Cameron (Kay) died tragically in a motor vehicle accident along with 3 other teenage friends on Provincial Road 229 and Highway 8 on September 6, 2026, at approximately 9:15 PM. Landyn was in Manitoba to celebrate his 18th birthday on September 11th along with his best friends. Sadly, this did not come to pass.

Landyn leaves to morn girl friend Alyssa, mother, Melanie, brothers Mathieu (Jessica), Cameron, Grandparents Bruce and Jane Cameron, Aunt Crystal, Uncle Ken, Cousin Grace and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins across western Canada and the Maritimes.

Landyn was born in Winnipeg on September 11, 2008, and resided with his grandparents in Stony Mountain and Teulon, attending school from kindergarten through to Grade 10 in Teulon. Landyn then attended high school in Red Lake Ontario residing with his mother, in Ear Falls Ontario. Landyn was aspiring to become a welder. He was very artistic, he loved to draw, he loved music and was just getting into playing the guitar. He had his own puppy Anakin. Landyn had recently enrolled himself again in School in Red Lake to pick up missed credits. He was doing this while continuing to work part time at Leslie’s Café and Bistro in Ear Falls.

Over the years, Landyn spent many summers at the family cottage at Nutimik Lake. He loved to swim, fish and boat. He enjoyed the cabin life and the lake with his summer friends. Landyn liked to skateboard, ski and snow board, he also took Karate lessons gymnastics and drum lessons in Teulon. Landyn was a true force of nature and fearless. He loved animals and the outdoors. Landyn was a friend to everyone, a very kind soul. He will be missed by all.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Teulon – Rockwood Hall, 14 Main Street, Teulon, MB.
