Leonard (Len)
Leroux
Feb 17, 1949 — Jul 9, 2026
Some people leave a mark on the world; Len left fingerprints everywhere he went.
A big man in every sense of the word, Len cared for his family and friends not only with his heart, but with his entire larger-than-life being.
Fiercely loyal, endlessly generous, and wonderfully stubborn. He believed family always came first, told it like it was, laughed until tears rolled down his face, and somehow never managed to finish a joke before laughing at it himself.
He leaves behind his loving wife; Darlene, his children; Vanessa, Nevin (Stacey), Dione, and Lacey. He is also survived by his sister, Suzanne (Dale), his brother Ernest (Susan), his cherished grandchildren; Carlie, Dawson, Kaden, Rylen, Kamara, Trysen, and Kinsley; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and dear friends who became family.
Len was predeceased by his parents; Lillian and Stan, his brother David and wife Janice, Victor and wife Betty, nephew Lonnie and his son-in-law Lenny.
In keeping with Len’s wishes, there will be no formal service. A casual gathering will be announced at a later date to commemorate his memory.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to your choice of child sports team/organization or Lucky Mutts Dog Club.
Len wouldn’t want heavy hearts. He’d want stories told, laughs shared, and glasses raised. So it is requested that all close to him do exactly that – share a memory, have a good laugh, and raise a glass to Len and all the finer things in life. Cheers.
