It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of a loving wife, mother and artist, Lesia. She will be remembered as a soul mate to Steve of 65 years, loving mother of Leslie (Joe) Dort, Natalie Dayneka (Bruce Webster), Andrew Dayneka (Janet Reid), and Mark Dayneka (Sheri), grandchildren Joseph (Tanya), Malcolm (Julie), Erika (Sergio), Matthew, Shannon, Alex (Kirk), Jillian and Stephen, great-grand son Owen, brother Ehor Boyanowsky (Cristina), nieces Jennifer (Edward), Thea (Sam) and nephew Alexei as well as sisters-in-law Vera and Joan.

A special thank you to Dr. Diane Zielke, all medical providers and staff of the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Hospital for wonderful care and compassion.

A gathering in her memory will take place on Tuesday, January 15 from 2-4pm at the Red Lake Royal Canadian Legion.

A private interment will be held in the Woodland Cemetery.
