He is survived by his brother Dan (Anne) Kowal, grandson Lane Kowal, spouse Jane Thesenvitz, daughter Victoria Kowal, aunt Victoria Stejout, cousins Jerry and Chris Kowal as well as grandchildren Kendall, Justine, Emmett, Regan, Tucker, Courtney, James, Emily & Corra-Lynn Kowal-King.

A gathering will be held on Friday November 9 ^th , 2018 at 1pm – 3 pm with a eulogy reading at 1pm at the Ear Falls Royal Canadian Legion.
