He is survived by his wife Carol of 52 years, children Teresa (Tom), Duane (Karrie) and Lesley (Philip), brother and sisters Betty, Clifford and Joanne, grandchildren Jamie, Daniel, Shaune, Elisabeth, Abigail, Haley and Garret as well as numerous nieces, nephew and in-laws. Robert served 27 years in the RCAF before he moved to Ear Falls in 1980 where he worked numerous jobs in the town until retirement.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Manitoba
