Peacefully on March 25, 2015 at Northwood Lodge in Red Lake, Ontario
with her son Joseph, and daughter-in-law, Audrey by her side. Born in Camp Morton, Manitoba on July 24, 1922 Rose is survived by her children,sons, Joseph (Audrey), Robert, Edward (Patti), and daughter Joan and stepchildren. Laura (Hans), Audrey (Joseph) and Henry (Tulip). Rose is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Tim (Gayle), Rick (Tracy) , Ron, (Cheryl)Jennifer (Trevor), Greg (Ally), J.D., Lisa (Paul), Jessica, Nicholas, Lynn (Lindsay),Faith (Jules), Marcie (Fraser) and fourteen great grandchildren Kyrra, Jori, Rosie, John, Ethan, Devon, Tenal, Bryson, Jaden, Christopher ( Shawn),Brock,Aaron, Colton and Joshua and great great grandchild Easton. Rose was pre-deceased by her husbands Joseph Blazek in 1968 and Henry Schnerch in 2002.
Rose was the sole surviving member of her family. Rose was a resident of Balmertown for the last 45 plus years and was a long standing member of the CWL and a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church.As her name would indicate, she loved flowers and gardening and sheloved curling, both playing (when younger) and watching.
The family wouldlike to thank the staff of the Margaret Cochenour Hospital and Northwood Lodge for the caring way they took care of Rose. She will be missed, but we know is in God's loving hands and will always remain inour hearts and prayers.
Funeral services will be held on March 30, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church in Balmertown. Interment will follow in the Woodland Cemetery.
