Obituary

It is with great sorrow the family announces the sudden passing of Ryan Rivera on November 4th at the age of 35.

Ryan will be sadly missed and is survived by his parents Dianne and Joe, and his special friend Cynthia. He will also be greatly missed by his thirteen maternal aunts and uncles, Sheila, Myrna, Patsy, Alice (Art), Helen (Daryl), Norman (JoAnne), Louise (Linsey), Dorothy, Donna (Jerome), Mickey, Wayne, Loretta (Wayne) and Carol (Paul) and eleven paternal aunts and uncles Eva (Paul), Emily, Leo (Penny), Lucy (Armand), Irene (Roger) Marie (Ed), Robert (Aline), Larry (Debbie) Rose (Wes), Linda (Raymond) and Bert and by over one hundred cousins.

Ryan was predeceased by his brother Lonne, his paternal grandparents Paul and Antoinette Rivera, his maternal grandparents Stan and Edith Clarke, one aunt, and six cousins.

Ryan was born in Thompson, MB on February 24, 1977 and the family moved to Balmertown that summer. He was an exceptionally talented welder and most recently was employed by Multicrete in Balmertown. He enjoyed camping, fishing, movies, music and his friends. His smile and laughter will be missed by his numerous friends whose lives he touched.

A private funeral and interment was held on Friday, November 9th at 1 pm in the Woodland Cemetery with Father Cornelius Amaechi officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a Charity of Choice through Herold Funeral Home "The Red Lake Chapel" Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.
