Shane passed away at the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital at the age of 57, after  a long and courageous battle against cancer. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Michelle, children Christopher (Hannah), Arlene (Patrick), Amber (Tom), grandchildren Desiree and Cade, brothers Todd and Ernie.  Shane was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Joyce.

Shane was born in Edmonton, AB however he grew up in Winnipeg, MB where he met his wife Michelle and they built their beautiful family together.  Shane took after his dad, moved to Red Lake where he worked for many years in the restaurant industry and he also enjoyed working at Fountain Tire.  Shane was passionate about cooking, his pets, sports, his family and friends. He was loved by many and was well known for his great sense of humour.

Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held in Winnipeg, MB at a later date.
