Trevor was born in Red Lake, Ontario on Christmas Eve 1970 and spent his life in Ear Falls, Ontario, and Wenesaga Lake at the family's cabins. Fresh air always played him out as he lived for the outdoors. Having two cabins to enjoy, yard work was not a chore to him, but a must. He maintained his parents cabin yard on the lake for the past four years, always eager to help anyone in need of a project.
He grew up hunting, fishing, and trapping with his dad and brother. As an adult, he purchased his own trapline which he enjoyed doing with his family and passed his trapping knowledge onto his son Tearyn. Even though he loved to trap, he had a huge heart. From saving baby ducks, and mice, to feeding fox, deer and crows with all of the leftovers all year round.
Trevor loved his family deeply and was a great father and showed his endless love to his three beautiful children Tearyn, Taylen and Timea everyday.
Trevor's friendships were true and he loved to laugh. He had a big heart for others and appreciated the people that were like family to him during difficult times. He would always keep everyone laughing with his quirky ways and goofy personality.
He enjoyed watching sporting events such as CFL, hockey, and baseball live and on television. He was the biggest fan of the Los Angeles Kings. He attended countless music concerts with his family. Trevor saw Ozzy 7 times, including his old band Black Sabbath.
Trevor loved to travel with his family, especially to Mexico, and his family has many fond memories of their vacations. He enjoyed good food and great laughs with family and friends and was the best host, making everyone happy and full. He loved to make people smile and laugh with his crazy sense of humor and outspoken witty remarks.
Trevor attended college in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and University in Thunder Bay, Ontario and received his Forestry Degree. He worked for Ontario Hydro for many years on the Forestry Crew before he changed careers to be a licensed electrician. He took so much pride in being an electrician, always striving to do his best work and be a leader. He was last employed with Ontario Power Generation in Ear Falls, Ontario.
He will lovingly be remembered by his forever love Kayleen, whom he spent 33 years of his life with, his beloved departed son Tearyn, daughters Taylen and Timea, parents Don and Mabel Wiebe, in-laws Ted and Judy Dranski, brother Calvin (Lynne) Wiebe, nieces Calista, Ella, Ava, numerous friends and extended family.
A private memorial service was held at 16 John Street in Ear Falls on Saturday, September 5 th at 2 pm with Eddie St. Pierre officiating.
