A person can be many things over the course of a lifetime. To many of you, Wayne was a hard worker, a joker, a friend, a baseball coach, a storyteller, a Coli Lake regular, a schoolmate, and likely - someone who had your back. To his parents, he was a caregiver and a loving son. To his neighbours, he was a helping hand and a drinking buddy. To his children, he will always be a part of what made them who they are today and they are stronger and closer than many siblings because of that.

Although Wayne's passing was unexpected, we take away from this experience: to be kind and patient with people as you never know what problems they are battling; to spend time with your family; to help a neighbour; and above all, to take care of yourself – life is short and though its cold and lonely in the deep dark night, I can see paradise by the dashboard light .

Wayne is survived by his children Jennifer and Christopher, his mother Edna and his brother Dwight.

A private interment will follow at a later date.
