Obituary
Yvonne is lovingly remembered by her husband André Samson of 52 years, children Chantal (Rick DeBin), Nathalie (Barry Hipkins), Joël Samson, grandchildren Jamie DeBin, Shalyssa (Tayler Jeffries) DeBin, Jacinda DeBin, Kassandra Hipkins, Matthieu Hipkins, and Rhylen DeBin, her siblings Régean (Cécile) Michaud, Jeanne (Rosaire-predeceased) Mongrain, Marcel (predeceased), Francine (Robert Dumond) Michaud, Louis Michaud, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Yvonne was truly an amazing woman who was the kindest and most loving person in the world.
She dedicated her life to helping others; she loved working at the school as the lunch monitor, she would always make sure that the children ate their lunches and then would play a great game of tag.
She also loved being part of the church, this was truly her calling.
Yvonne belonged to numerous organizations and took part in many activities. She took great pride in everything she did. She truly was gifted.
She sacrificed more than anyone will ever know, and even though she was going through her own ailments, she always had a smile on her face. She had the joie de vivre.
If you ever find yourself laughing, dancing, or singing, know that Yvonne is right there with you.
A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, August 30 th at 11 am at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Justin Eze officiating.
A private interment will follow at a later date.
Donations in her name may be made to St. John the Apostle Catholic Church or the Association Francophone de Red Lake email transfer may be sent to franco.redlake@gmail.com for the Francophone Association or made through the Red Lake Chapel, Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.

Yvonne était une femme exceptionelle, gentille et pleine d'amour. Elle a dédié sa vie pour aider les autres; elle aimait travailler à l'école comme garde du dîner, elle s'assurait que les enfants mangeaient leur dîner pour ensuite jouer un jeu de tag avec eux. Elle aimait beaucoup faire partie de l'église; qui était, sans doute, sa vocation. Yvonne était membre de plusieurs organismes et elle aimait participer à plusieurs activités. Elle était fière des projets qu'elle entreprenait. Elle était une femme très douée. Elle a fait plusieurs sacrifices et malgré ses malaises personnels, Yvonne partageait son sourire généreusement. Elle démontrait une vraie joie de vivre. Si vous vous retrouvez avec le goût de rire, danser ou chanter, sachez qu'Yvonne est présente avec vous. Une célébration, dirigée par le Père Justin Eze, aura lieu mardi le 30 août 2022 à 11h00 à l'église catholique St.John the Apostle. Une inhumation privée suivra à une date ultérieure.
